slow down - the gestalt way
Gestalt Courses
Objective of the training
The focus of the training will be for the participants to:
Develop awareness of when there is a need to slow down.
Experience “slowing down” during the sessions
Discuss, develop and practice ways of slowing down and be able to let go during every day and professional life.
Focus on personal balance: in balance/out of balance.
Identify techniques on how to “bounce back” after being out of balance.
Learn about the Gestalt awareness-zones, and improve self-regulation and flow between these zones.
Layout and timing
One workshop comprises of 4 sessions. Each session is 2,5 hour.
Approach and methodology used
The sessions will be a mix of theory and practical exercises and will have a highly participative format with a focus to engage together into new developments. The approach will leave room both for individual and group work during the sessions.
Expected output
During each session, participants will be actively engaged in discussion, reflection and slowing down.
Following the four Workshops, it is expected that participants will have learned a number of small techniques for raising their awareness, for helping them to self-regulate through challenging times or pressure points, and for bouncing back after being under stress.
Furthermore, it is expected that participants will have explored all 3 Gestalt awareness-zones, and used the zones in their own slowing down process and self-regulation.
